Tonight we picked up our entertainment center that we have to assemble ... hopefully all of the customer reviews are right and it'll look just like the Pottery Barn one that sells for 3.5x more.
We also picked up the orphaned kitchen furniture from Derek's friend's foreclosure (we needed stools for the center island and had an open spot in the dining room for table and chairs). It is just heinous. Check it out. Think I can strip and refinish these? Or should I just sell it on Craig's List? All of the objects are carved into the wood, so I'd have to sand it all down. The table is the worst ... picture to come later.

holy shit batman. quite a contrast to your lovely neutral home! it's going to be a lot, and i mean a lot, of work to strip every piece. it may be worth checking into getting them professionally stripped where they dunk them. it may be too costly and you'd be better off getting rid of them and buying your own thing. if you do nothing, they certainly say "GOOD MORNING" but i'm not sure that's either of you guys.

Congratulations. Hope closing and moving is going well. It was nice to see the progress on our blog page. Bar stools need help. Maybe selling on Craigs list to a color blind person would work or like Sue said to dunk them professionally would work. Good luck.
