Grounded

It's been lovely. It's been nice, everyone. But I'm now grounded for the summer. No more flying until after the monsoon season is done.

Flight was fine, not great, but fine. I don't really like sitting backwards looking out/back/down with the extreme pitch NJ uses on takeoff. They scuttle above commercial levels real quick. I feel like I'm going straight up vertically. Conversely, descending feels like I'm nearly on my back. I don't mind commercial regulations - they're predictable and passenger friendly. Commercial throttles down and decreases pitch immediately after the flaps are retracted. Not here - it's like a rocket ship. Plus, they like to plow through chop whereas NWA throttles down.

And who said you can't complain about something you didn't pay for? Pshah! Watch me!

Enjoy your wonderful summer, Minnies ... I'll be thinkin about ya!

oh come on kelly. you'll be back this summer. you can do it! would it be better sitting in the forward facing seat and feel like you're on your back taking off and on your face during landing? if so, try it. or you can fly commercially. i have some frequent flyer miles i'd be happy to share with you.
