The insulation is going in today/tomorrow. Soon the drywall will be going up. I'm approving my tile/granite die lots tomorrow and trying to nail down the artificial turf guy on how they like to charge you for excess material.
I'm "cheating" on my landscaper ... getting two new designs/bids for the backyard. My landscaper is like a politician ... you ask a simple question, even a yes-no question, and you get some muddled, nonsensical response and a headache. Makes you wonder if he's hiding something or if he's just a fricken twit!
I've been trying to stick to a red/purple flower and green leafy theme plus cactus and agave in the yard. It's hard to not use the ever ubiquitous yellow down here in the desert, but I'm tired of yellow. NO YELLOW. I'm tempted to add orange, because we have some tall walls to hide and the Orange Bells and Honeysuckle would help. But I'm not certain I'll like the combination of orange-red-purple. Thoughts?

Mom, I'm glad you gave an opinion. :) I love the addition of orange. I would agree with you about yellow. Go with red, purple and orange!!
